I just stumbled onto this page on Muppet Wiki, cataloging SS episodes that were repeated two seasons later over the years:

The title and description of this page call these episodes "recycled plots," but I feel like this should be looked into. "Recycled plots" would imply that the street story itself is a rehash of a story that has already been done before, and I know we could definitely list examples of that . . . case in point: both Seasons 33 and 34 had plots involving a chicken mistaking Rocco for an egg and trying to hatch it, or the fact that the hurricane arc of Season 32 is not the first time a hurricane hit the street.

I think, perhaps, a more suitable and clearer term to use for the page's title and description would be "Sesame Street Episodes With Repeated (Street) Stories." Just a thought.

I have often thought the same thing, though I never brought it up.
