Jackie: Hey Byron I have to get going now!
You have a great night!
Daddy Byron: He's in the kitchen eating pie, I'm his dad.
Jackie: Hello Mr. Summers!
Jackie: I'm Jackie, it's nice to get to talk to you!
Daddy Byron: Hi.
Daddy Byron: Nice to talk to you too.
Jackie: awwwThanks!
Jackie: Get a lot of snow down there?
Daddy Byron: We had about 2", how about you?
Jackie: oh we had 6"
Jackie: that was the most we've had in a few years
Jackie: NJ has funny weather
Daddy Byron: How cold was it up there last night? It got to 2 degrees here.
Jackie: 2 degrees! wow! It was in the 30's here. Last week we were in the single digits
Jackie: it's tough walking around a college campus when it's 9 degrees outside
Daddy Byron: It only got to 30 here today.
Jackie: yep it's like that here too. but it was nice and sunny out, it was so bright with the while snow on the ground and the sun shining on it
Daddy Byron: Yes it was very bright and sunny here too, I had to put on my sunglasses while feeding the cattle and breaking ice on the pond.
Jackie: Lol! That's so cool that you're a farmer. My dad is a glass contractor. He puts glass in office buildings and such. Ne never fed any cattle. But that's neato!
Jackie: There are cows on my college campus. The students study them.
Daddy Byron: Actually the cattle belong to my father who is 82 years old, I grain farm 1500 acres raising corn and soybeans.
Jackie: Oh that's wonderful! Where do you sell the corn and soybeans? I might have actually ate some of the food from your farm!
Daddy Byron: Most of my corn goes to a local elevator and the soybeans go to a processor 100 miles away where the oil is removed and soybean meal for livestock protein is made,
Jackie: wow it's a very interesting process. Do you enjoy your work?
Daddy Byron: Yes, it's nice being my own boss and working in the "big office" outside.
Jackie: Haha! I love that! It's good to love your work. Well, i'd really hate to cut this short Mr. Summers but I have to get going now. Please tell Byron I said goodnight. He's a good man you should be proud of. He loves his family and especially you sir. You have a wonderful night! I hope to get to talk to you again soon!
Daddy Byron: Good night , enjoyed it. Holler at me again sometime, I'm on for a while most nights.
Jackie: Byeee for now!
Daddy Byron: 'night.
