Singer/songwriter Mac Davis has died of a heart attack at the age of 78. He was a fifth season guest on The Muppet Show.

Mac Davis, who wrote 'In the Ghetto' and 'Memories' for Elvis Presley and had country hits like 'Don't Get Hooked on Me,' has died at 78.
