And we found out how Leonard Jackson died of: Alzheimer. Leonard Jackson also played Harry Cupper on Shining Time Station as well. R.I.P. Leonard Jackson (1928-2013)

My brother watched Shining Time as a kid, and I remember when it aired on Fox Family and we used to record it for him.

Thread bump because I'd like to offer my own thoughts and then let the forum take its course.

Leonard Jackson was a great actor. I always enjoyed him as Harry Cupper in the Ringo Starr days of Shining Time Station, and finding out he was the original Mr. Handford years later was surprising. I didn't think he played the role as well as David, but it was still cool getting to see him on the show.

I was really sad when I heard he passed away. Alzheimer's is such an unfortunate disease.
