Astronaut and senator John Glenn Jr., noted for being the first American to orbit Earth back in 1962 and the fifth person to journey into space, passed away of unknown causes today at 95 years old.

So amazing that Glenn was willing to go back into space well into his golden years and become the oldest person to do so, as I remember back in 1998 and even back in 2012.
