This is a long-overdue thread for another celebrity death, but I figure this one is deserving. Japanese musician Isao Tomita died of cardiac arrest back on May 5 at the age of 84.

This guy truly was one of the greats when it came to synth music, able to make that artificial analog sound come across as very organic. I especially love his cover of Gustav Holst's "The Planets" more than the original because of that cool sci-fi sound and "alien" chatter he provided with the music.
