R.I.P. Danny Seagren

I'm surprised it hasn't been talked about here yet, but puppeteer Danny Seagren died at age 81 nearly three weeks ago.

Seagren died on November 10, according to his family. There was no cause of death stated.

In addition to being the original Big Bird understudy, he also performed Snarl, the Frackle that was a precursor to Gonzo in "The Great Santa Claus Switch."
