Questions about adding pictures

Hi everyone!
I just have a small question: can you add pictures directly from your computer to a post? I've tried it but can't figure out how to make it work.

No, we no longer have the ability to upload anything directly from your own computer (avatars, images, etc), it has to be from a URL.

You cant upload an avatar from your computer? when did that happen?

Oops, I got that reversed... it's from URL that you can't upload avatars, but vice-versa, you can't upload images in posts from your computer.
