Question About MuppetFest

Did MuppetFest just happen that one year or is a yearly thing? When is the next one going to be or are there even any plans on having another one?

It was a one time only thing, but there have been plans on doing another one for years. Some other members can answer this better than me.

It was advertised as a once in a life time opportunity.Then at the event, someone from the Jim Henson company said it would become a regular event, but then the Muppets changed hands, so there hasnt been anymore, apart from a sub convention within a Disney Convention to relaunch The Muppets, but once again, most of the plans have been shelved that was mentioned.

I would have loved to have seen the MuppetFest.

I hope they have another one as many fans did not get the chance to go...i would love to see some of those muppets and muppeteers in person
