Hello all. Quick question, on the puppet and the poser of Miss Piggy, the little speck of white in the black area of the eye, is that a painted white dot or a "diamond" for sparkle. I know someone on here, oh, the persons name escapes me, made a piggy puppet and used the "diamond" stud for each eye? Anyone know this? Just curious.

Thank you:smile:

It is a white paint spec.A diamond may have been used for special effects when she had a twinkle in her eye for one of the Movies.I think it was The muppet movie. Then again, they could also achieve this by superimposing glares on her eyes.

I always thought they put the glint (when she sees Kermit) in later. An effect which, by the way, I adore and love so much! But that they just had a white dot otherwise, especially in posers.

oh my gosh wow i have had this same question in the back of my mind for years .

oh but i like what beargard said about the sparkle being a dimimand in piggy's eye so that it would sparkle when she would look at kermit or kermit would look at her .
