Question about Kermit's Appearance from Episode 3865 to 3976-3980

I was watching an episode of S.S. on Sprout On Demand where Elmo, Telly, and Baby Bear make up a story of a dragon. In the beginning, Big Bird says "Hello", to some people including Kermit in his reporter outfit talking to Susan. Sadly, Kermit doesn't get to say anything. Did anyone else see this and think it was a foreshadow of Kermit's appearnce in the Hurricane saga?
