Does this forum not block members on our ignored lists from PMing us like the old forum did?

I've been wondering this. I know if you block someone and they sent you a pm before you blocked them, it will still show up and you will still get alerts until you leave the pm.

Not sure about if someone tries sending one to you. Want me to block you and find out?

No, the reason I asked is because I received a new conversation from someone on my ignore list, so yeah, this happened after the fact.

Well that's just dumb. I guess you just need to leave the pm :/

I was wondering this too. Since I got a PM from an ignored member and a lot of members in the conversation were on my ignore list.

Good discussion, here's how to deal with this.

Ignoring a user is not retroactive to existing private conversations in your inbox. But it does prevent new private conversations from showing in your inbox. For existing private conversations you must manually leave the conversation, and when doing so you can select "Ignore future messages".
