In the first episode, Gordon says Bob is a "shop teacher" and Bob also talks about how he "teaches shop". Now my question is this: how long was he a shop teacher? Because as far as I can remember he was a music teacher... heck apparently he was even a music teacher as far back as Christmas Eve on Sesame Street which was 1978.

I'm sure somebody who watched the show religously in the early days will be able to answer this question for you. I just wanted to say it was a good change they made making Bob a music teacher, instead of a shop teacher. It seems to fit him a whole lot better.
