Question about a Muppet Painting's Artist

I have been trying to find any information for years about this Muppet painting. I was curious as to whether there is someone knows within collector's circles to have painted such intricate scenes involving the Muppets. This painting is at least 25 years old since that is how long we have had it.

Wow that is a great painting.I see the artist initials are GP.It would have to of been something officially commissioned for the Muppet Movie.Try contacting Karen Falk at Henson in NY.
