Does anyone know what the hipster that drew the shapes in the air with the dullard looked like? Ya know, "I know WHO a square is! HAH!"

I haven't seen the skit, just heard about it.

Thank you for your help!

He was basically a purple, black-haired Anything Muppet with (I believe) a paisley shirt. He was voiced by Northern Calloway while someone else (reportedly Jim Henson) did the puppetry. Frank Oz played the "dullard", the tall orange Anything Muppet with a large nose and a voice similar to Sam the Eagle's.

It looks like it was in the same vein as the "Visual Thinking" bit that was shown on the Muppets on Ed Sullivan DVD between Kermit and Grump.

It actually was in that same vein, something I pointed out to anyone who'd listen whilst watching the Sullivan DVD.

I agree. It rully WAS like that Ed Sullivan skit, as I've heard.

And yes, Travelling Matt, the puppeteering to the hipster was indeed "that guy with the beard". LOL
