Someone's looking for a puppeteer to do a costume/puppet in St. Louis. Here's the details:

Pays $75 per day plus a performance based bonus at the end of the run. In between shows and breaks you get to play & interact with the patrons. Performances run 30 minutes 2-3 times daily. You are not being hired by the festival itself. We are an independent act that travels the U.S. May lead to more work at higher pay! The two parts to be performed are: Faerie Queen- Very glamorous. Wears beautiful costume, is the host/M.C. of the show. The beauty to the beast. Interacts with the audience. Plays the straight role. Requirements: Female, any age over 20. Must work well with children. The character must be portrayed as bigger than life. Must be energetic -as the dragon is stationary-- and able to project. Singing, dancing, improvisational abilities a plus. Baby Dragon- Cute, lovable, yet an uppity rascal. A fun, comedic part to play. Requirements: Must be a ham! This part takes stamina as well. Actor or Actress sits inside a costume/puppet ala the muppets with another person who controls the wings. Puppeteer or mime experience helpful. Must be able to project clearly in a silly voice. Claustrophobic's need not apply.
