Wow!

That was a lot of fun.

His video was great. I hope it was a joke. I think the best line in his video that made me laugh "I have done more for puppeteering than anyone since Jim Henson". There could be a couple people here that could argue with that I'm sure.

Brian your response was great very funny. Please keep us informed with the back and forth. I really liked your point about a critque from a puppeteer should matter a lot more than one from a mechanic.

I think it was a joke, mostly, though I wonder what actual upset is under there. The guy, Feldman, has talked to a bunch of people as a puppet that I've talked to, and who've been on dotBoom, so I wonder if aside from his general level of dickery that he's actually already heard of Hoggworks, and realized that the criticism actually came from someone who HAS done a couple puppets before.

Then again, maybe he just thought it would be funny to over-react.

(I'm certainly not suggesting that I'm some person who should inspire awe. I'm just saying that it's very slightly possible that he'd heard of and already liked the Hoggworks work out there)

Any updates? That rant is good enough to appear on "The Soup"!

I wrote an extra bit about it here:

But no updates other than that, really. Mr. Feldman has moved on, which is odd, because when he's attacking people who don't respond, he keeps poking at them, acting like the tough guy. So I think I unintentionally kicked his butt (I was imaging we'd have fallen into a back-and-forth thing for a little while, there).

Also, I got a bunch of hate-mail. That was fun.
