Jim also carried a bag around with him frequently. Sort of an over-sized purse for men. I always wondered if he would carry a single puppet along in it.

plastic tubs

I use th eplastic tubs along with plastic covering for each puppet. And yes, be sure the puppet is dry before storage.:rolleyes:

Marionettes?

What about storing a marionette? How do you do it so the strings dont tangle?

Put the marionette in a drawstring bag, closing the bag at the top of the puppets head. Spin the puppet so that the strings twist together. Wrap the strings round an s shaped piece of wood, called a cleat (this cleat idea was suggested by Bickerdike many years ago).
