The Forma series pattern kits from Project Puppet now include CD instructions. You may view and print the instructions from the CD. The CD also has a zoom feature that allows you to zoom in on the diagrams and photos up to 250%. We have also provided a way for our customers who have ordered Project Puppet kits in the past to upgrade to the CD version for just the cost of shipping! For details visit www.projectpuppet.com and/or our faq page.

Happy puppet building!

are you dying the foam as a whole or just the pieces you need?

Foam

Hey fishbone. The kits come with a 16"x36" sheet of reticulated foam that is an off-white, neutral color. The foam is not dyed. The instructions outline the procedure for dying the foam to the color you desire. You may cut the pattern pieces out, and then dye them. Or you may dye the entire sheet of foam and then cut the pieces out. As a general rule, I would suggest dying the foam as a sheet and then cutting your pieces. (You wouldn't have to dye the whole sheet - just enough to facilitate your pattern pieces.) It is easier to get an even color that way.

Hope that answers it for you!

How long does it usually take to ship the kits? I ordered on the 20th, paid with PayPal and haven't received e-mail notification of shipping yet.

I totally forgot I had posted on this thread.

The kit came yesterday! I'm very excited to get started on it. Thank you!

The Postal service never sent me an-mail. But that is kind of typical of them.

Anyway, thanks again!
