Hello ALL!
I don't know much about building puppets, props or even costuming, but that's what the Puppet Heap Workshop in New Jersey is looking for.
I picked up the Backstage paper/magazine yesterday (for those of you who don't know what that is, it's a paper of listings for the entertainment buisness, job wise).
Puppet Heap has an ad asking for costumers that deal with pattern-making, dye and surface decoration, tailoring, excelent stitching skills, etc. Prop builders should incluse a history of building miniature realistic props for television and film, casting and molding, etc. For puppet builders there looking for seasoned with professional experience only. They are also looking for interns.
The contact says to e-mail current resumes and three to five samples of your best wotk to jeff@puppetheap.com.
I hope this helps all of you puppet builders, costumers and prop builders. Good Luck.
