Hello my fellow puppeteers and saludos from Cochabamba, Bolivia!

Titeres Elwaky is a puppet troupe that has been putting on shows for over 20 years, completely with our own material. We go the whole way from writing the scripts to building the puppets to performing in all sorts of places, from large festivals to small rural towns. Below is a link to our blog:

Right now we are working on putting together the 9th edition of Festititeres, an international puppet festival that brings artists from around the world to Bolivia. Below is a link to our video:

Last but not least, check out our festival specific indiegogo page:

Looking forward to meeting all of you and hope to see you in Bolivia!!!

That's some great puppetry going on there! Not sure if I'm ready to travel to Bolivia, but I do know a place nearby my hometown where I can see them even for a festival: it's called the Center for Puppetry Arts. Have you been there? It's located in Atlanta, the "Heart of Dixieland" as it's often called. Right now, they're building new rooms to create a museum showing different puppets unique in any culture around the world! :super: Even puppeteers as far away as Spain come to perform for a month or so. And somewhat like Festititeres, the Center is a non-profit organization, therefore donations and memberships help ticket prices stay low.

Anyway, I'm proud that your team helps encourage puppetry arts in your home of Bolivia. Buenas suerte para duendes--I mean!--titires!
