Since Technicolor closed up shop for theatrical prints and LPP wasn't invented yet, a Muppets classic have their unstable dye-couplers eaten and now it doesn't look like the home media releases any more making Jim up there shed a tear that a film he rushed to make has gone......red. Thankfully Disney and Sony has color corrected it for home media release. I saw a similar listing for a Kodak SP 16mm print and that went red too.

do you feel old? that something you watched in the theater now turned red (if you lived when JIm and the rest of the crew was alive)?

Goodness forbid what the prints of "The Muppet Movie" are like! YIKES!

I think it's a bit of a rushed judgement to say all prints have gone red... With the right storage, they might not be. I'd assume they'd store the original negatives safe and careful.

Most of what I've seen is surprisingly good! You should see the Super8 prints, though.
