I wish him luck and good health. On the one hand, yeah, they're being mean, but on the other, what the "enemy" is going to do makes that pale in comparison, so it'll be good to get assertive sooner rather than later.

Update time...

Looks like we'll be seeing him for Thanksgiving after all; his graduation from Paris Island is the day before Thanksgiving, then he'll be traveling back here to K-Town for Thanksgiving the next day, with a special request of banana puddin' at dinner, lol. Not sure how long his "leave" is, I think it's only for a few days or so, then he'll be off for additional training; at the same time, he's also asking for some support and prayers right now, because he's really gunning for a recruiting position that he's got his sights set on, so fingers crossed for that.

But mostly, I'll be glad to see him for Thanksgiving, looks like the holidays are going to be back to abnormal now.
