Poor Rizzo the Rat gets no attenion?

Well he does a lot in Muppets from Space and such, but no one ever talks about him on the boards, RIZZO one of the best and underly apprciated muppets...

honestly, i've never liked rizzo. i respect him, and i think it's cool that he and gonzo are friends, but i just never really liked him..i don't know why though

Most people like Rizzo. That`s why nobody talks about him. Just like chars as Kermit, Beaker and some other chars almost everybody like.

Rizzo the Rat

Boy, I was waiting for a Rizzo thread. I like the character. It's interesting how he went from a silent background character on "The Muppet Show," then had quite a big part on "The Muppets Take Manhattan" and became Gonzo's best friend in later years. Heck, that rat could always make me laugh. Remember when he ate the dancing cheeses on "Muppets Tonight?"

And here's another famous Rizzo moment:

Jeffery Tambor: You don't have any nostrils. How do you smell?

Rizzo: Awful. Trust me. I'm his roommate.

Rizzo has a lot of good momnets. I liked his relationship with Gonzo in MCC and MTI. They make a good team. Both play the straight man at times. That's a very funny way to have a duo. Rizzo gets plenty of screen time. Too much Rizzo would kill the character. Imagine if an entire movie was based upon Rizzo! We would tire of him very fast. He's there for the same reason as Pepe, short jokes with big laughs.

ya he's been a short joke with big laugh kind of guy for a decade now which is cool...i liked his friendship with pepe in muppets from space..

He had a great role in MCC and MTI, but sometimes, he gets... not redundant... can't think of the word. Anyway, He's one of those characters who should be in the top ten, but not overl used. In MCC and MTI, I think he was over used. I don't know. I like the rat. One thing's for sure, he was under-used in VMMCM.

Rizzo's one of those characters (like Pepe) who needs to be balanced. He has to have the right amount of screentime, and used in the right way, otherwise, he's under-used or over-used. Just one of those guys.

Maybe it's that way because he wasn't very big during TMS.

And Bean Bunny, I wouldn't mind if he was brought back, but if he isn't, I wouldn't mind either.
