Sam and Friends BookI also thought of a great sketch! This sketch should feature Ernie and Bert from 1999-2000 and the unnamed Cookie Monster from 1969. I hope this sketch would work.
BERT: Hey, Ernie...Ernie, it's awful. The monster ate all of the pickles from the Sesame Street Burger Barn Restaurant! He also ate the ball-shaped chocolate candy! And he came to our apartment that he ate all of our cupcake batter! Just awful.
ERNIE: Gee, that's terrible, Bert. We gotta do something! We gotta get rid of that filthy beast here before the restaurant will have more pickles, and the candy stores will put back the ball-shaped chocolate candies and we can get the cupcake batter so we can decorate cupcakes in the later days during parties. (To the unnamed Cookie Monster) Hey, Monster, what are you doing here in our apartment? And why did you ate all of the pickles, the ball-shaped chocolates and the cupcake batter?
COOKIE MONSTER: I always like to eat pickles, Wonderballs and cup-ee-cakes! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! (Eats pickle, Wonderball and cupcake.) ARR-yum-yum-yum-yum-yum-yum-yum, etc.!
ERNIE: (Yelling) You stupid monster! You think that you would like to eat pickles, candy and cupcakes forever! That's stupid! I'm gonna tell your mother that you'll never eat them ever again and I'm gonna tell everyone on Sesame Street that you're gonna get out of our apartment! Do you understand, monster?
COOKIE MONSTER: Oh, ERNIE!!!
ERNIE: What, monster?
COOKIE MONSTER: Oh, Ernie, Ernie, Ernie! Please don't let me ago!
ERNIE: I know, I know.
COOKIE MONSTER: Oh, Ernie, Ernie, Ernie, Ernie, Ernie, Ernie,etc.!
ERNIE: O.K. You can stay here in our apartment. (Bert enters again and gets angry at him.) Oh, you thought I wanted to let the monster stay here! Keeheeheeheeheehee!
BERT: I DON'T WANT A MONSTER THAT HAS BEEN MURDERED HERE IN THIS APARTMENT!
ERNIE: You don't?
BERT: NO! He has done stealing the foods I've mentioned before, Ernie...
ERNIE: Oh, I was just kidding.
BERT: No, he's just a bad monster, and bad means opposite of good. So I'm gonna yell at him right now. (To Monster, yelling) YOU STUPID MONSTER!!! YES YOU, YOU FILTHY BEAST! YOU ATE THE FOODS I'VE MENTIONED AND YOU'RE GONNA BE IN BIG TROUBLE BY STEALING THEM!
(Bert keeps yelling at the Monster while Ernie performs his famous "Kee-hee-hee-hee-hee" laugh.)
