Our new Snail Tales puppets

I did post a couple of pictures of one of these puppets a while ago, but thought i would update with the full final set. I was pushed for time so ended up with limited number of pictures taken on my iPhone rather than the usual studio shots, but it's better than nothing.

The puppets were all made for Snail Tales, who do puppet shows around the country and are currently on a national tour. The puppets were a Medusa Wig, consisting of 3 snakes that sit on top of the performers head, a cat puppet and a large snake that had rotating eyebrows.

The wig contained a mouth trigger for each of the puppets, and their mouths were spring-loaded so they could be opened and closed from the finger trigger. it was tricky, mainly with the trigger being above the user rather than below like it would normally be. They worked out well in the end.
