What is YOUR best way attaching Single Ostrich Feathers

Getting ostrich feathers fringe to work using this method is pretty cool but I'm not into the glue thing

Sewing is the most permanent way of attaching hair like this, especially with heavier, longer hairstyles. That's my 2c on the issue.
