Hi all

..Computer probs have meant I haven't been able to get here much lately - but hope you all had good Christmasses and New Years!

Can I ask a quickie about feathers?? I want to try using a feather boa for puppet hair but what's the best way to apply it? I should really buy one and experiment but thought I'd ask first. I assume you can sew the 'spine' of the boa to the puppet fabric? (surely you don't have to clip the feathers off and sew/thread them all individually do you???)

Also, are there good sources out there for generic puppet eyes? (gloss white, round and slightly domed) and with a ready-to-use fitting method, basically something just like the teddy bear eyes you can buy.

Any help with these questions is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Mercury Plastics sells half-dome eyes, but only wholesale. Search the forum under "puppet eyes" and you'll find oodles of old messages about this.
