For everyone across the pond...

posted at puppetsandstuff.com said:
Hello all,

I am a TV producer from the UK looking to get in contact with puppeteers of all types to pitch for a brand new comedy puppet show.

Background: a major television network has shown considerable interest in an edgy comedy puppets show idea. My problem is that the UK's puppetry industry is extremely closed. The Creature Shop has shut up shop and and there are only a handful (if that) of companies that I've so far tracked down who are able to produce puppets on any scale.

I need to find designers and puppeteers who are at the cutting edge of puppetry, preferably multi-skilled (ie: any type of puppetry). I would prefer UK based companies but would consider companies from abroad, especially Europe.

Does this interest anyone or is there anyone you know in the UK or otherwise who would be interested?

Thanks to all.

Sam
