As you all can tell by my screename, I am a diehard Sesame Street fan. I love the older episodes, and haven't seen them in years. I'm preferbly looking for episodes from 1983-1992, since that is during the era when I was watching the show on a regular basis. Now unfortunatley, I don't have anything to trade, since I don't have any old SS episodes. But I would be willing to pay for them as long as the person is trustworthy and has good references. All I'd like for now is 2 episodes anyways. But if anyone is willing to do me this favor, please send me a private message. I would really appreciate it if one of you could help out a fellow fan.

Hi. Unfortunately, from what I've gathered, receiving money for episodes is kind of a taboo in these communities---since that's even more flat-out illegal than trading---but some traders are willing to give you episodes in exchange for store-bought DVDs that you buy for them. Whether it's a new movie they want, or some TV show box set, you buy it and send it their way, and they give you a number of episodes in return---usually the amount is determined by the total running time of whatever you send them.

Um... To try and set you straight SesameStreetFan... If you're looking for old SS episodes, contact Boober_Gorg. He's got the biggest episode library of all of us here, and he's extremely trustworthy. Helped me out with some episodes last year. True enough, he doesn't sell his copies... He does however prefer for you to get blank tapes, send them to him, and he'll then send you the episodes you negotiated with im.
Would advise you to contact him personally through the forum's E-mailer or PM's to set up a conversation and see if he has what you're looking for though.

Hope this helps and have a good day.
