Ok I think I'm not dreaming. I just heard the "Grover takes a walk" from (I think) "Grover sings the Blue" and Havin' Fun with Ernie and Bert" album. Wasn't this skit on an episode of Sesame Street back in the day? I remember something about a boy and a cartoon or puppet version of Grover (can't remember well) but he's doing just about the same thing you hear in "Grover takes a walk" skit. Am I dreaming or what? And if so does anyone have this or can they put it up on Youtube. I would love to see it if it's true.
