does anyone remember this guy???

he was a muppet who would make noises with his mouth...
for example, if he was talking about sawing wood...he'd just open his mouth and the sound of sawing wood would come out.

i don't recall who the sketches were with, but i know he was talking to other muppets.

i believe this guy was also the blue guy that was driven nuts by grover in the restaurant.

Greetings from the Count and welcome to the crazyness that is the Muppet Central forum! To answer your questions...

1 The name of the character in question is actually Simon the Sounds Man.
2 Simon is actually the brother of Mr. Johnson who was constantly driven nuts by Grover. The difference is slight, but it's there.
3 The difference is that Mr. Johnson has brown hair, whereas Simon the Sounds Man has black hair.
You can find Simon the Sounds Man, Mr. Johnson, and a ton of other Muppet characters in my very own compilation here at the forums if you wish. Just go over to the Classic Muppets section and enter the "Muppet Listings 8.0" thread. Hope this helps, have a good day, and I hope you enjoy yourself during your stay here at the forums.

I KNEW HIS NAME WAS MR. JOHNSON, I KNEW IT! As for Simon, wasn't he the one who asked for a brand new (immitates a perfect trumpet sound), and that music man (who sounds like Jim Henson) brought out a violin, a piano, and a drum? And wasn't Simon the one who was trying to teach Bert how to sound like a tuba, and he ended up sounding like a bull.

Yes, Courage Baggy, that would indeed be Simon the Sounds Man. And as I said, you can find him and a multitude of other Muppet characters by visiting the "Muppet Listings 8.0" thread in the Classic Muppets section of this forum.
Hope you have a good night and hope to see you guys there.
