Sorry if this is spam, because Nick Barone's work was referenced here, and he and this site was a great resource for me when starting, I thought I'd share.

The San Francisco Bay Area Puppeteer's Guild is running a workshop and celebration of life for Nick Barone, California puppeteer who was very generous with this time and knowledge. Nick ran puppetbuilder.com and nickbaronepuppets.com

His family and the SFBAPG has setup a fund to run ongoing workshops in his name. The event is Oct 1st 2016.

Most can't make it to the San Francisco area, but there is a shirt through booster to help sponsor this effort.
