Greetings - I'm relatively new on the forum. I've been chatting with several fellow collector's for the last few years and have finally broken down and started a blog celebrating the earliest SESAME collectibles. For the most part I'm looking at pre-1980 stuff: the 1970s puppets, cool foreign stuff, vintage SESAME artwork, etc.

My plan is for the blog to be more than just "specs" on vintage toys, but stories, analysis, comparisons, and such - looking at advertising, publicity, personal memories, and so on.

Just letting you know that there's a typo in the link. You need to flip the "a" and the "t".
I don't know if you're an "expert" on these toys or if you just enjoy talking about them, but I have some questions about the Topper puppets. I'll keep watching the blog!

I got side tracked with a cold and haven't blogged this week but will begin posting again this weekend. I don't know that I'd call myself an expert - but I have been collecting info and vinatge material on the toppers for a while now.

I hope to work thru the Topper and other early SESAME toys sort of chronologically but will be interspersing them with some blogs on other favorites toys like the Vicmas and other foreign SESAME items. Feel free to message me, to.

Great blog! I really enjoyed the post about Christmas, it conjured up great memories of my childhood at Christmas
