I've heard from several people trying to join MC over the past few weeks that they have not had their memberships validated, I think they're waiting for the confirmation email.

Is it possible for one of the Mods to look in to this?

Thanks!

When I first joined it took me weeks to get my email.

Are they checking their junk mail or spam folders? That's where my confirmation went.

It's AOL! People who join my forum who have AOL e-mails never receive their e-mails because AOL blocks those e-mails because they're "spam".

A friend of mine has recently registered, but isn't receiving his e-mail, nor is he allowed to post yet.

AOL causes lots of problems and apparently puts MC Forum activation notices in their Spam folder (or they may delete them all together - don't have AOL).

We are aware of some issues with new accounts not being activated and are working on this. Everyone's new account will be active shortly.

My friend can't register

My friend wanted to register for the Muppet Central forums, but he said he couldn't get in and the admins may have locked registration. Can you please tell me how my friend can join your forums, because he really likes the Muppets a lot.

Thank you,
Xerus

E-Mail Phil. This is a systems problem he's working around.

Yeah, this will be resolved as soon as possible. We are making some changes in the registration process. Please hang in there. We are looking forward to welcoming new members as soon as possible.
