Alan Muraoka revealed on Facebook that next season on Sesame Street, Alan will sell Hooper's Store (but will still be a regular).
The store will be sold to descendants of Mr. Hooper's family, once again putting Hooper's Store under Hooper ownership. We'll get a whole Hooper family running Hooper's.
Says Alan, "research shows that kids have been confused by the store being called Hooper's when it is owned by Alan, people have also asked if Hooper is Alan's last name, so they decided to make it less confusing."
Muraoka is unsure whether this family will be played by actors or Muppets.
