I'm not sure how well this works (it tooks a little odd to tell you the truth) but there is a "beginner" pattern for a moving mouth foam puppet at http://www.geocities.com/Broadway/Balcony/1282/1.html

Has anyone tried this? The site is very slow and it can take a minute or two for each page to load.
