I know that the replica of the SST set that was used for filming FTB was built on location in Ontario, Canada, but I forget what it's initial purpose was though... I seem to recall reading once that it was like an Ontario-based little theme attraction or something along those lines, but I could be mistaken.

Does anyone else remember its intial purpose prior to filming FTB?

I originally thought it was the area at Sesame Place, but it seems I read once somewhere that it was constructed for the movie. In actuality, now, I'm clueless about it.

Off topic but similar subject: I know the town used for filming the Robin Williams Popeye musical is now used as part of a theme park.
