I just stumbled across this diagram while looking something up quickly at Henson.com - it's a neat Muppeteering diagram by Caroly Wilcox.

erm, the joke is that the ideal puppeteer would have three arms, and a head that wouldn't get in the way, but would be low, as to get a better view of the monitors.
