I don't know if this is exactly what you were talking about but here's what I do when creating a MySpace background.

First thing I put a DVD into my computer and find a scene that I like (for example I had Kermit during "Rainbow Connection" at the beginning of The Muppet Movie) and I take a snapshot of it. This is the only part that I would think one would find difficult since I don't know how many peoples' computers can play DVDs let alone take snapshots of them.

Ok if you can get a picture from your DVD onto your computer locate the file (mine automatically saves it to "My Pictures" in My Documents) and go to photobucket.com and save it there.

Next go to Tom's MySpace editor (I think he's on 4.4 now  ) and there's a part where you can put in a URL to a picture (you get the URL from photobucket).

Let me know if that helps or if you need anymore help!

Hey rexcrk, I can play DVD's on my computer, but whenever I try to take a "snapshot" (by pushing the "Print Screen" button, and then opening the image in PaintShop), it doesn't work. All I get is the border and a black screen where the picture should have been.

What gives? LOL. I know I must be doing something wrong, or my computer just doesn't work that way.

Is a snap shot the same thing as a screen capture?

Thanks.
Anthony

P.S. Good luck Luke! I've been wanting to do the same thing with mine.

Sorry it took so long to reply, I kinda forgot and then I was like "Oh yeah! I wonder how my advice went!" lol

Anyway is there a special program you use? I use a program called "Power DVD" I think.
