As a new Junior Partner and General Manager at Action Figure Freddy I have a heap of new responsibilities. One is the 6x3 foot marquee design for our new monthly events.
Our first marquee featured two Pixar artists promoting their own cheeky toon playing cards. This month featured a local sculptor Matt Lauchner, known on DeviantArt as hellgnome.
The idea was to put his freaky sculptures in this horror B-movie genre homage. He loved it, the owner loved it and tomorrow it will be printed and displayed. I thought some folk would enjoy seeing it.
If you wind up in San Francisco's Chinatown two weeks from today...be sure to stop on by and see me. We'll have a local orchestra outside and refreshments and collectibles inside.
Action Figure Freddy is also on Facebook. I manage the page and we tend to get some really cool things in stock from time to time like cool licensed art before it hits the bigger marketplace and rare replicas so pop in if you'd like.
