My Rizzo action figure fell off of the bookcase he's on a couple of times because Mr. Samuel Arrow :attitude: kept falling over on him (and I thought he was so big on safety!). Anyway, Rizzo's little black nose broke off, and is nowhere to be found! I've spent a long time looking, but I don't think it's coming back. Anyway, do any of you have suggestions for how I can fix his nose? My arts and crafts skills are not very highly developed, so if any of you can suggest an easy way to give Rizzo a new nose, I would be very grateful!

:sympathy:

P.S. In case you were wondering... "awful"

Hey Andy,

It might be worth your time to email Tony at TEqui@palisadestoys.com ; He's in charge of replacements. I'm not sure if he'd be able to, since it wasn't damaged by the factory, but he may be able to give you some advice.

Sorry to hear about your rat.

They replace busted figures? I have an entire lot of factory-broken or defective ones I'd love clean versions of...

You should e-mail Tony.

There's a limit to what they can do, and their first recommendation is to return defective merchandise to the store where you picked it up--if that's no longer an option, e-mail Tony. I've never had an issue for him, but it would undoubtedly help the company to know what kinds of problems people are having with the figures.

Did just the little black tip come off or the entire part where the whiskers are attached? It should be easy to make another black tip.

Just the black tip, but I would want to make sure I made one that was perfect, and I don't trust my artistic ability to do that without advice...

P.S. Thanks, Gonzo, for the email advice... I may end up doing that, just to hear what suggestions they would have.

Yea.

Andy, we should combine our problems and report it all as one thing.

You have to report issues when they occur. A figure falling off the shelf wouln't likely warrant a replacement piece from Palisades, but there's no harm in trying. They're friendly people. On the same note, I don't think they'll replace a list of figures a member has had difficulty with months after they've bought them. They probably can't help with series three and before. Replacement pieces for real issues like breakage should be easy, but not nitpicks such as small issues with paint application. In other words - common sense.

Personally, I think it would be wrong to make palisades absord the cost for this particular problem. It's not a defective figure. I would either buy a new one or try to make a new nose. No need to take advantage of the companies good will for something like this.
