.... I'm watching this episode as we speak. Grouper and Behemouth, nice to see Ol' Orange got work again... But he... He's in Carl's terrortory. I know Bill was preforming Grouper, but Carl could have fought back. Heck, the Tonight! crew is full of people who are likely to fight back, Sal, Bobo, Andy and Randy, Clifford, and not to mention, the old school heavy hitters, Animal, C. Harry, Sweetums, and others. I am just sitting here, thinking this all could have been avoided if Carl attacked Behemouth.

I always think that Grouper's name should have been Ernst Stavros Blowfish (a fish-pun of Ernst Stavros Blofeld, the character from the 007 films.) Not sure why they walked right up to the edge of the joke and then threw a curveball like that. Maybe that's the joke. They let you anticipate one thing, then yank the rug out at the last second. Shrug.

Although, when Pierce Brosnan hosted, he DID call him "Blowfish" so perhaps they held the gag in reserve for a more satisfying payoff.
