How did the Muppetisms that are included on Muppet DVD Extras come about? In one of them they mention that they are made for cable. Were they originally made for the Kermit Channel and then not used, or were they used without me realizing it?

If you mean the Hallmark Channel (back when it actually was the Brian Henson-Robert Halmi owned Odyssey Channel, and not PAX Lite), yes.

Selling Muppet recognition between programs was their other biggest bit of name-franchise outreach in the first few days, apart from rerunning "Gulliver's Travels" and "The Odyssey".

Yes, the Muppetisms were made for Odyssey Channel. I always thought that most of them were rather well produced, with "Frog Just Gotta Get Funky" easily being the best.

*bump*
I just found out about these on MuppetWiki. According to that, they were once on JH website, although I don't think I saw them there. Anyone run into these online?
