There is something that is used on some muppets that is not fleece, but it looks very much like a fleece. I believe it is a sprayed on substance. Flax? FLex? Flox? Fledge? Felk? Flek? I know it starts with an "F" I've searched the threads here and could not find it, but I am sure I saw it in this forum before? Does anyone know where I can find more info on this technique of muppet skin?

Thanks PJPIPERHOP! That is exactly what I was looking for. I knew it stated with an "F". I was pretty close.
