I posted this earlier on Muppet Wiki and got a response. Let’s see if I get a better response here.

I’ve managed to work out ‘The Muppet Show’ airdates for an international broadcaster. But as to which international broadcaster… see if you can guess.

You weren’t exactly following the rules by making it a guessing game which the wiki isn’t to begin with. That’s why you didn’t get the answers you were hoping to hear.

Except I wasn't. The international broadcaster in question is New Zealand. The reason I framed my post that way is because I am *from* New Zealand - something which members of this forum and the wiki are aware of. Understandably, I figured that people would twig that I was jokingly referring to my own country. In other words, I wasn't playing a "guessing game" I was making a facetious remark.

Well you can’t always expect to get the answers you want to hear based on how you word it. Sentences don’t always translate well to intentions behind a keyboard message.

I see what you were trying to go for for what it is, just the first message of yours made it feel like you were throwing the wiki under the bus for not getting the answers you were hoping to hear, with the wording of “Let’s see if I get a better response,” which isn’t something they’re responsible for in the end.
