Has there been a special release of The Muppet Movie yet with extra bonus features and the like?

No. The only one I can think of with extras is the one with the screen test with Kermit, Fozzie, Piggy, and Sweetums, plus some Muppetisms. That sounds like a good idea, though. Sorry I couldn't be of help.

There is no Special Edition DVD release yet. Many people have written/called The Muppet Holding Co. (AKA Disney) to ask about a possible Special Edition, but as of now...no luck
