First, Beaker inserts a cat into the machine (the puppet is Gaffer minus the bandage and eyepatch), and from the other side of the machine, a brown puppy comes out, which Beaker is told to put back in, and it's converted into--a tiger! Bunsen tries to pull the tiger out, explaining that the machine will convert anything into a pet--including his own hand.
