I recall in the fall of 1981,when the Muppet Show characters began appearing regularly in the local newspapers,Saturday colour comic strip section. But they only lasted until February of the following year, when they were replaced by Garfield. However, yesterday I came upon some old Muppet Show comic strips from the early 1980s,on the internet. They were samplings that had been drawn by an artist by the name of Guy.The section was titled Muppet Comics For Sale.I believe the website I found it on was Gilchrist Studios Online.

Well I'll keep writing. I don't know the exact URL but it is definately worth digging around in there to find them because they're really funny!
I think it's pretty cool Berkeley Breathed is bringing Opus back to the Sunday comics! I also enjoyed the comics he did for "Secondhand Lions." Good stuff. Anyway, that's cool that there were Muppet comics! I didn't know that.
