MTI Pirates: Who? And How Many?

Something I've been wodnering is how many pirates were there in MTI (Does anyone know? Ever counted?) and are all teh pirates new characters (Pupepts) or re-used from otehr shows, characters, whatever, etc.

their first (and last?) appearances and who played them. I hate compiling these things
